An American F/A-18E fighter jet fell from the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and sank to the bottom of the Red Sea where it operates, as part of the US operation against the Houthis in Yemen, the US Navy announced. A US official told CNN that according to an initial investigation of the incident, deck crew lost control of the aircraft during towing - following a "sharp turn" made by the aircraft carrier to evade an attack launched by the Houthis. The latter announced yesterday that they launched a missile and drone attack against the "Truman."
