Former Israeli Premier League soccer player Ali Khatib, who played for the Palestinian national team, was arrested earlier on suspicion of threatening a young woman. The Haifa Magistrate's Court released him to house arrest until Sunday, and in an unusual move, also allowed him to leave for a game.
