Following a request by most coalition parties, the Central Elections Committee ruled that voting hours will not be extended beyond 10 p.m. "At the end of the discussion, it was determined that under the current circumstances, there is no justification for extending voting hours," the committee stated. "The high national turnout rate across all sectors indicates the public's significant engagement in the democratic process, and under these circumstances, no need was found to extend voting hours." The committee emphasized that any voter who arrives at the polling station before closing time will be able to vote. In addition, it was decided to extend voting in Hebron until 10 p.m. due to a power outage.
