The body of Israeli Michal Peleg, 65, who resided in the village of Kavousi, was found on the Greek island of Crete. Last Saturday, it was reported that Peleg had been missing for about three days, since June 4, and Greek police launched a search operation that included calling rescue teams from Israel and involvement of Interpol. Her family said: "With great sadness, we must announce that Michal – a writer, creator, traveler and generous-hearted woman – was found lifeless in the sea, several kilometers from the shore where she went hiking."
