Jackal attack at Sea of Galilee: Animal suspected of having rabies, still at large

|
Following the jackal attack at Duga Beach on the Sea of Galilee, during which 11 people were evacuated for treatment, the Ministry of Health and the Nature and Parks Authority issued a public warning about the animal suspected of having rabies, which has not yet been captured. It was also stated that rabies is a dangerous and fatal disease, and therefore in case of exposure, the Ministry of Health requests to evacuate immediately and report to the health bureau. "In case of a bite, scratch or contact with an unknown animal, the area should be washed thoroughly with soap and water and medical treatment should be sought without delay," it was written.
