The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated terrorist Misbah Salim Misbah Daya, head of the "Al-Mujahideen Brigades" terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip, in central Gaza last week. Daya was responsible for coordinating terrorist operations in Judea and Samaria. According to a joint statement from both organizations, his role included recruiting terrorists in the West Bank and within Israel, through whom he planned and carried out attacks and terrorist operations. During the war, the terrorist organization under his leadership was involved in fighting against the IDF, and its militants who participated in the October 7 massacre were responsible for the kidnapping and murder of Ariel, Kfir and Shiri Bibas. His three predecessors in this position were eliminated by security forces.
