The IDF Spokesperson announced that forces in Gaza have begun ground operations in several areas within the Strip, marking the start of Operation 'Chariots of Gideon'. The spokesperson also reported that during the past week, the Air Force launched an opening strike, attacking more than 670 Hamas targets to disrupt its combat preparations and support ground operations. Among the targets struck were weapons storage facilities, militants, underground infrastructure and anti-tank missile launch positions.
