Health Ministry Partially Lifts Closure Order on Medica Tel Aviv

|
The Health Ministry is partially lifting the closure order on Medica Tel Aviv. As part of the partial lifting of the closure order, the clinic was permitted to perform only basket surgeries and not to perform aesthetic procedures. The Health Ministry stated that 'the decision was made following the correction of significant deficiencies and a commitment to additional corrective actions.' On September 28, the Health Ministry closed the private hospital in Ramat HaHayal, in part due to illegal use of cocaine solution and nursing teams that performed surgical procedures without legal authority. Hospital CEO Anat Nussbaum resigned following the discovery of the failures.
