US President Donald Trump will visit Malaysia in 12 days, on October 26, during which an official ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia will be signed. This was announced by Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohammad Hassan. Under the agreement, both sides will commit to removing all mines from both sides of the border, as well as artillery. Last July, fighting erupted between Cambodia and Thailand, lasting five days and leading to the deaths of at least 48 people.
