Police arrested a 20-year-old Jewish man who sprayed graffiti reading "There is a Holocaust in Gaza" on the Western Wall - in the area designated for prayer without gender separation. The young man confessed during his interrogation that he committed the acts attributed to him, apologized and was released under restrictive conditions. The incident was condemned by political figures, with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich writing on his X account that "they forgot what it means to be Jewish." Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz wrote that it was "a crime against the entire people of Israel."
