Government approves: Doron Cohen to be appointed State Service Commissioner

The government unanimously approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's proposal to appoint Doron Cohen as State Service Commissioner. His entry into the role will be on May 5, 2026, or on the day of completing the procedures as required in the conflict of interest arrangement, whichever is later, and valid for six years. Doron previously served as Director General of the Treasury, Director of the Government Companies Authority, CEO of Mekorot and Chairman of the Board of Cellcom.
