Released hostages Omar Shem Tov, Maya and Itai Regev addressed the rally at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv. Itai said, 'We stand here tonight in Hostages Square as the voice of those who cannot be here with us.' Omar noted: 'We were kidnapped together with Uri Danino. We met him that very night. When the horror began, we split up. In all the chaos, Uri chose to go back to save us. Uri paid for this choice with his independence and ultimately with his life.' Maya added: 'Uri represented the Israeli spirit, the spirit that must continue to lead us even now. We don't give up on anyone.'
