Hamas stated in an official declaration that "the organization is committed to implementing the ceasefire throughout the Gaza Strip." According to them, "There are no events or battles in the Rafah area - this is a red zone under Israeli control and communication with their forces is cut off. Therefore, we have no connection to events occurring in this area and no ability to communicate with anyone there."
