Iranian FM: 'We are transparent with the people, published names of all 3,117 victims'

|
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed the death toll from the latest wave of protests, writing on X that "we are fulfilling our commitment to full transparency with our people. The government has already published the complete list of 3,117 victims in the recent terror operation, including about 200 police officers. If anyone disputes the accuracy of our data, please share evidence." Last night, U.S. President Donald Trump said that "this is a very sad situation. The Iranian people are better than their leaders. 32,000 people were killed in a short time – some of the protesters were actually hanged using a crane, and they played with them."
