An IDF spokesperson said that yesterday a report was received about stones being thrown at a soldier on leave in the outskirts of the village of Al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah, who responded by firing toward them. Police arrested the soldier for further investigation and to clarify the reasons for the shooting, and he was suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. At the time of the incident, there were no additional IDF forces at the location. No casualties from the shooting were reported.
