Abbas: 'Against harm to civilians, security and stability in the region will not be achieved without ending the occupation'

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas addressed the attack at Ramot Junction in which six people were killed, writing: "The Palestinian presidency has reaffirmed its consistent position regarding the rejection and condemnation of all harm to Palestinian and Israeli civilians, and the rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism from any source." The statement also said that "security and stability in the region will not be achieved without ending the occupation, stopping the acts of mass destruction in the Gaza Strip and settler terrorism in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem."
