The Karmiel Municipality updated that testing of the city's drinking water continues, and that instructions to boil water before use in the city will remain in effect tomorrow as well. Following today's announcement by the Ministry of Health, the municipality emphasized that until further notice, water must be boiled before drinking, cooking, food preparation, preparing medications and brushing teeth. Water can be used without boiling for bathing and sanitary purposes, animals can drink the water and home filtration systems do not replace boiling. The municipality added that educational institutions will be provided with additional drinking water bottles.
