Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan responded to statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump, who said he "will not allow Israel to annex Judea and Samaria," stating that "Netanyahu must tell Trump: 'We will not reach October 7, 2025 - I am applying sovereignty.'" According to Dagan, "The coordination between Netanyahu and Trump has never been closer. The ball is always in Netanyahu's court. A friendly American administration allows for managing agreements and disagreements. Only sovereignty over all open spaces and settlements will prevent a terror state in the heart of the country. The responsibility lies with Netanyahu."
