Police arrested seven individuals suspected of extortion and collecting protection money from businesses in the Emek Sara industrial zone in Beer Sheva. The investigation revealed that the suspects fired weapons, committed arson, engaged in theft and exploited incidents where businesses were allegedly damaged to threaten and extort them in exchange for protection fees.
