A source involved in the details of the ceasefire agreement negotiations between Israel and Hamas told the Qatari newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that the US special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will arrive in Qatar on Friday or Saturday to announce the completion of the deal, which will establish a ceasefire for 60 days. The source added that Witkoff will not arrive in the emirate until all points are agreed upon by the participants in the talks. Additionally, the source indicated that he expects the "issues that are still open" to be resolved on Thursday, and expressed optimism about a "major event" taking place then.
