The Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee has approved Defense Minister Israel Katz's request to extend the mobilization of reservists under Order 8. Yesh Atid criticized the vote: "In the same room where they are advancing the law for mass draft dodging, the extension of Order 8 was approved. Instead of drafting young ultra-Orthodox men, the government is placing the burden on reserve soldiers."
