"Everyone knows that Tucker Carlson and I are friends," Vance said, "and I think it's very clear that Tucker has said things I don't agree with. He has said some things about the president of the United States that I simply think are not true. He's a friend, and even though we disagree on some issues, I'm not going to throw friends under the bus just because I have political disagreements with them."
