Qatari television station Al Jazeera reported that a commander from the 'Mohammed Def Martyrs Brigades,' an unidentified organization that claimed responsibility for launches from Syria toward the Golan Heights, said that 'our actions against the Israeli occupation are in response to the massacre in Gaza, and they will not stop until the attacks on Gaza cease.' Hamas denies any connection to the organization. The Syrian news site 'Voice of the Capital' reported that in addition to this organization, another group called the 'Islamic Resistance Front in Syria' also claimed responsibility for the firing and 'released a few seconds of video showing the launch of two Grad rockets.'
