Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed the American strike, writing on his X account that "The United States, a permanent member of the UN Security Council, has committed a serious violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty). These events are outrageous and have eternal consequences. Every UN member should be concerned about this dangerous, illegal and criminal behavior. In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions, which allow for a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interests and people."
