The Iranian news agency IRNA reported five explosions heard on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the agency's correspondent in Qeshm, the explosions occurred one after another, and given their intensity, it appears the strikes took place within the island. The agency noted that residents of Qeshm reported two aircraft flying over the island. Local and provincial authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the matter. Meanwhile, a channel associated with the Revolutionary Guards reported activity by air defense systems in the skies over the island.
