The Health Ministry reported that a rabid jackal was found at Kibbutz Ein Dor in the Jezreel Valley, and a rabid calf was discovered in the settlement of Jonatan in the Golan Regional Council. One person exposed to the jackal and five people exposed to the calf were referred for preventive rabies treatment. The ministry urges anyone who came into contact, or whose pets came into contact with an infected or stray animal in the area, to urgently contact the Health Department.
