Mother of Lior Steinberg: 'Thank you for letting me be your mom, even if only for 20 years'

|
Thousands gathered at the military section of the Segula Cemetery in Petah Tikva to pay their final respects to Sergeant Lior Steinberg, a 20-year-old resident of the city who fell in battle in northern Gaza. His mother Orly eulogized him through tears: "My Lior, beloved of my heart and soul. You were a deep child, always trying to maintain a positive frequency. You are a great light to the world. I received you for such a short time. Thank you for letting me be your mother. Thank God for letting me be Lior's mother, even if only for twenty years. Lior, I love you forever."
