Police arrested a crime boss in his 30s from Ramla on suspicion of involvement in extortion, shooting incidents and making credible death threats against a business owner. Following an investigation during which police filed indictments against 12 suspects, including SSQ teenagers and members of violent gangs suspected of protection racket extortion involving shootings and credible threats against a business owner's life, the police managed to identify one of the central suspects in the case who had been on the run and in hiding. This morning the suspect surrendered to police after realizing he would be arrested.
