Israel Railways has updated that "due to a fire near the railway tracks in the Ashdod area and at the instruction of firefighting authorities, train traffic between Ashdod and Ashkelon stations has been temporarily suspended." They also reported that "due to a malfunction on a train that stopped at Herzliya station, there are delays and changes in train traffic in the central region and on the line to Beit Shemesh. Railway crews are working to restore regular service."
