The Haifa Magistrate's Court extended the custody of Ali Masawda, 28, from the village of Silwan in East Jerusalem, who is suspected of murdering his wife overnight in Haifa, by four days. Masawda denied the allegations against him during interrogation. The woman, in her 30s, was found overnight in critical condition on HaAtzma'ut Street and was evacuated to Rambam Medical Center, where her death was pronounced.
