Report: U.S. to Replace Two B-2 Bombers with Less Advanced Model in Middle East Forces

|
The U.S. military has replaced two B-2 bombers in its force concentration on Diego Garcia island in the Indian Ocean, Reuters news agency reported. Last month, the U.S. deployed six B-2 bombers, representing one-third of its stealth bomber fleet of this type, to the island where America leases a military base from Britain. According to the report, the replacement of stealth bombers with the less advanced B-52 comes after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire with the Houthis in Yemen last week.
