Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara called for an "urgent hearing" on petitions against the broadcasting bill being advanced by the government. According to her, "Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi has severely harmed the bill and the concern for damage to freedom of expression and the press is grave. It is necessary to complete the governmental work process and fix the significant flaws."
