Amid allegations of forbidden relationship: AG to meet with IPS commissioner's attorney

|
Following allegations by the Israel Prison Service commissioner of a forbidden relationship between the key witness against him and a Police Internal Investigations Department investigator who questioned him in the 'Ben-Gvir associates' case, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara will meet with Yaakovi's attorney, Uri Korb. The Attorney General requested that the IPS commissioner provide her with evidence supporting his claim of the forbidden relationship, and announced that 'insofar as it is found that there is reason to investigate the claim regarding that described relationship, the investigation will be carried out by an entity that is neither the Police Internal Investigations Department nor the Israel Police.' The meeting was scheduled after Korb approached her in a letter requesting to freeze the filing of the indictment.
