Home Front Command sources on missile that exploded in Bat Yam: 'It destroys houses - but not safe rooms'

|
Sources in the Home Front Command addressed the Iranian missile strike in Bat Yam, saying "this is an event we haven't experienced here before. We rescued survivors trapped under the rubble by breaching buildings and doors. We also located casualties who did not survive, and operations continue. Currently, there are still several missing persons and we know who we're looking for." According to them, "we are not in contact with those trapped and are estimating their locations. They are buried under the debris." Regarding the missiles fired, they stated: "These are large heavy munitions with hundreds of kilograms of explosives that destroy private homes - except for safe rooms. The extent of destruction indicates this was a direct hit in Bat Yam."
