A 6.4 magnitude earthquake was felt east of the Kamchatka Peninsula in eastern Russia. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which noted that the epicenter was at a depth of 28 km. In recent days, several earthquakes have been felt in the area, which is almost uninhabited, and no casualties have been reported.
