The Central Elections Committee voted in favor of disqualifying the Joint List headed by Dr. Youssef Jabareen. The decision now moves to the Supreme Court. Hadash party issued a statement: "The Central Elections Committee tramples the most basic rules of democracy. The persecution against us stems from the fascist right's desire to suppress voter turnout among Arab citizens in a desperate attempt to cling to power. Despite our reservations about everything that resulted from the actions of the Zionist opposition, we are committed to making every effort to bring down the fascist right-wing government and replace it with a less bad and dangerous one."
