Police and Fire and Rescue Services announced that starting at 7:00 AM, a large-scale exercise will begin in southern Israel in cooperation with various agencies to improve response to summer incidents, fires and complex emergency scenarios. As part of the drill, from morning until afternoon hours, there will be increased movement of emergency and security forces at several locations in the south, with emphasis on the Yatir Forest area in the Har Hebron Regional Council. There will also be aerial presence of joint forces, and intermittent road and route closures are expected in the activity area.
