Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna claims he was detained by settlers during a visit to Judea and Samaria this week – a visit that he says provided him with an "unfiltered look at the human cost of the Israeli occupation," as he considers running for president of the United States in 2028. In an interview with Reuters the day before yesterday from a Palestinian village, Khanna claimed that the day before, the commercial vehicle carrying his group was surrounded by settlers armed with M4 rifles: "We stayed in a village that Israeli settlers destroyed. They destroyed the school, they destroyed the village, and we just looked at what happened there."
