The Lod District Court sentenced four defendants in the child abuse case at 'Rachel-Li' daycare center in Moshav Azaria near Ramla. The main suspect, Diana Nasser, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison, while the daycare owner's son, Dudi Legali, received a two-year prison sentence. Two additional assistants, Daniel Bechor and Diana Biuk, were sentenced to several months of community service and ordered to pay compensation to the parents. The defendants pleaded guilty and were convicted, each according to their role, as part of a plea bargain for dozens of counts of child abuse committed together, assault causing actual bodily harm to a toddler, breach of duty of care and additional offenses.
