The IDF has never found evidence that Hamas systematically stole humanitarian aid sent by the UN to the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the New York Times, citing two senior military officials and two Israeli sources familiar with the matter, who noted that UN aid delivery was actually effective in providing food to the population in Gaza. According to them, Hamas stole aid from smaller organizations that were not always on the ground to supervise distribution - but there is no evidence of systematic theft of humanitarian aid from the UN.
