The Health Ministry announced that 18 people were exposed to a rabid puppy that was documented wandering in the nurseries area near Jaljulia. The small brown-gray dog was located and collected from the area on November 1 and transferred to a veterinary clinic in Tamra. It was later placed in foster care in Kiryat Haim. Anyone who had contact or whose pets came in contact with the dog in the areas where it stayed is urged to urgently contact the Haifa Health Bureau at 04-8774825 or the health bureau nearest to their place of residence.
