Hostage Nimrod Cohen's mother to MKs: 'He was supposed to be released today, how do you live with your conscience?'

|
Vicky Cohen, the mother of captured soldier Nimrod Cohen, called on the Knesset committee to release all hostages, noting that her son - who has been held captive for 668 days - was supposed to be discharged from military service today. "He's a soldier who enlisted to protect each one of you," she told the MKs, "he enlisted out of love for the country. There are people here willing to sacrifice my son after he was sent to protect you. How do you live with your conscience? How can such a thing happen? He was supposed to be discharged, be at the induction center, cut his dog tag and go free - instead he's rotting in tunnels."
