|
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich presented an aid plan for businesses and workers during the war with Iran, which will also include direct compensation for workers forced to be absent from work. According to the plan, it was decided to allow unpaid leave for workers forced to miss work, with them receiving 70% of their salary from June 13, retroactively until June 30 at this stage, through the National Insurance Institute. Additionally, as published on ynet, the plan will include compensation for businesses affected by a decrease in turnover of at least 25%, and 75% reimbursement for employee wages and expense reimbursement according to the degree of decrease in business turnover. The greater the decrease in turnover, the more the compensation will increase accordingly.
