Iran's ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, said at the Security Council that "Iran's attacks on Israel are part of its right to self-defense and are proportional, as they are directed only against military targets and infrastructure." He emphasized that "cooperation of other countries with Israel makes them complicit in the crime, and therefore they bear responsibility for the consequences."
