Foreign Minister Gideon Saar condemned the attack on European diplomats near Ramallah and wrote on X that "without detracting from the severity of the incident, it's a shame the visit wasn't coordinated with the IDF in advance. Such coordination could have helped ensure the visitors' safety." The foreign minister went on to write: "A police investigation has been opened, and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are already at the scene collecting evidence. The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the ambassadors of the countries concerned to assist law enforcement authorities in identifying the attackers and bringing them to justice."
