Unlike Trump, Vance refuses to endorse Netanyahu: 'Not interfering in Israeli elections'

|
U.S. Vice President JD Vance refrained from endorsing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the Knesset elections, in contrast to President Donald Trump who announced his support for him. In an interview with the 2WAY program, Vance said: "I support American candidates, and that's what I'm focused on right now – the midterm elections." He added: "I'm not against endorsing him, but I'm also not in favor of endorsing him. I'm not interfering in Israeli elections." It should be noted that Vance earlier this year expressed support for former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban ahead of elections in his country, in which he lost.
