Malfunction in baggage sorting system at Ben Gurion Airport causes delays and check-in lines

Due to a technical malfunction in the baggage sorting system at Terminal 3 in Ben Gurion Airport, delays and disruptions in the baggage sending process may occur. This was announced by the Israel Airports Authority, amid reports from passengers about delays and long lines in the check-in process. The authority claimed there is no connection to storm "Byron" and added that "teams are working on an immediate solution to the malfunction and operating an alternative work procedure until the system is fully restored. We regret the temporary inconvenience. We ask the traveling public to be patient and continue following the guidelines."
