IDF Spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin, asked his predecessor Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari to return to reserve duty in the IDF Spokesperson's Unit - for a senior position, which began with the start of the war against Iran at the end of the week. Hagari will remain "behind the scenes," and Defrin will continue to be the face of the unit, deliver statements to the public and represent it in the General Staff forum. In his role, Hagari will serve as commander of the media operations center.
