An 8-year-old boy riding his bicycle on Petach Tikva Street in Jerusalem was critically injured after being hit by a car. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical treatment and transported him to Shaare Zedek Hospital in the city. Police said they have opened an investigation into the accident, as well as two others that occurred in Jerusalem within the last hour: a 6-year-old girl who was severely injured after being hit by a private vehicle, and a 20-year-old man who was seriously injured after being struck by the light rail.
