Government to vote: Tzipi Hotovely to be appointed head of National Public Diplomacy Directorate

|
Tzipi Hotovely, former Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom, has agreed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's offer to be appointed head of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate in his office, after two years in which the position has been vacant, and despite an almost complete collapse of public diplomacy. Government ministers are expected to approve the appointment within a week. In addition, Eli Hazan, who is completing his term as Israel's Ambassador to Singapore, will be appointed director of the Government Press Office.
